In March 2007 the European Youth Campaign all different - all equal will start in Austria! Young people will campaign for Diversity, Human rights and Participation.
The Campaign is coordinated by the Austrian National Youth Council, who works together with several partners across Austria. The main elements of the Campaign are:
Website and myspace-site
On the website http://www.alleandersallegleich.at/ young poeple will find a lot of information on Diversity, on their right not to be discriminated against, on how to participate in the Youth Campaign and on how to fight against Discrimination.
The myspace-Site www.myspace.com/alleandersallegleich is another possibility to "link" oneself to the Campaign and show support for all different - all equal.
MMS- and E-Mail-Foto-Action „Wir sind Vielfalt"/"We are Diversity"
We want your picture! (Young) People can send a picture of their face via MMS or E-mail and form a huge mosaic of Diversity in Austria. This picture of Diversity is created at the Campaign-Website http://www.alleandersallegleich.at/. Everyone who participates shows, that she/he supports Diversity and condemns Discriminations of any kind!

The packages provides ideas for youth workers on how to work on the campaign-themes with young people (education pack) and it contains stickers and flyers for young people!
„Tour der Vielfalt"/"Diversity-Tour"
From June to September a "Diversity-Lounge" is present at the big Music-Festivals and several events for young people across Austria. The "Diversity-Lounge" is a place to meet people and get in touch with the campaign. A Diversity-Team will provide information about Diversity, Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination, are there to discuss about Diversity.
Symposion for Youth Workers and Final Event of the Campaign
On November 17th (around the Day of Tolerance), Austrian Youth Workers are invited to learn more about intercultural youth work, to meet experts from NGOs and Researchers who deal with questions of Diversity and Anti-Discrimination and to discuss the challenges and chances of Diversity.
In the evening, a party will conclude the Campaign, some of the projects and outcomes of the Campaign will be presented and Diversity will be celebrated together. Of course we hope, that the ideas of all different - all equal will live on in Austrian youth work!
